Small Groups
Purpose of Small Groups:
1. Sanctification – growing in Christ through confronting sin and challenge to change, applying scripture to life and being accountable for growth.
2. Mutual Care – giving and receiving concern and care for each other.
3. Fellowship – sharing what God is doing in each other’s lives.
4. Ministry of the Holy Spirit – expressing spiritual gifts and encouraging each other to use them.
Small Groups are most often, but not always, held in participants’ homes. This allows people to get to know each other better and for an informal learning atmosphere. The style is not lecturing but rather learning by interacting with others.
Topics of study for small groups usually last 6-10 weeks and are selected with input from the participants. For information on the upcoming Small Groups contact the church office click here.
